The Dragon I is a compact, handheld printing solution that integrates a high-resolution touchscreen with professional-grade inkjet technology. It is designed for mobility, allowing users to print barcodes, text, and images directly onto products or packaging without the need for a fixed production line.

Key Features & Design

The device is built for both flexibility and precision, featuring:

  • High-Resolution Display: A 5-inch resistive touchscreen with 800 x 480 resolution for on-device navigation and editing.
  • Printing Capabilities: It supports a printing height of 1~12.7mm at a resolution of 300DPI.
  • Multilingual Support: The interface includes Chinese, English, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Russian.

  • Comprehensive Data Printing: It can print alphabets, numbers, images, dates, shifts, and various barcode types including QR codes, DataMatrix, and PDF417.

  • Adjustable Physical Build: The standard size is 218 x 52 x  152mm, which expands to 218 x 79 x 152mm when using the 4-wheel structure for stability.

Operational Efficiency

The Dragon I is optimized for ease of use in fast-paced environments:

  • Online Editing: Users can edit printing content directly on the device in real-time.
  • Advanced Power System: It utilizes a group of three rechargeable batteries (2000mAh) providing 7 hours of standby time and 4 hours of active use.
  • User Management: Features three levels of authorization (operator, technician, and administrator) to ensure secure and organized workflows.
  • Automated Settings: The system automatically identifies the ink type and sets the optimal printing parameters.

Cost Benefits

The device includes features aimed at reducing waste and ensuring quality:

  • Ink Management: It provides automatic ink consumption calculation, allowing businesses to track costs and predict replacement needs accurately.
  • Reliable Hardware: By using original HP ink cartridges, the system ensures consistent print quality and reduces the risk of hardware failure.
  • Integrated Design: Because it handles “Online Editing” and “Real-time Printing” in one handheld unit, it eliminates the need for separate computer setups or expensive labeling machinery.
